Mitch joined the Idaho Falls office of CAI in 1997 as a PC/Network Technician. In 2003 Mitch was promoted to Regional Network Manager for the Eastern Idaho area and supervised a staff of four Network Engineers providing project management, system design, installation, implementation, maintenance, network infrastructure, security and system applications integration. In 2008, Mitch was promoted to the position of Vice President of Customer Relations and relocated to the Meridian office in June 2009. In 2015 Mitch became President and Chief Executive Officer. His primary focus is to ensure that current and potential CAI customers are satisfied with the products and services that CAI has to offer. Mitch’s educational background is in Business Management and Computer Information Systems from Idaho State and Brigham Young Universities.
Karolyn began her career with CAI in 1995 as a Full Charge Bookkeeper. Along with her bookkeeping responsibilities she is also the Office Manager and Administrative Assistant to the CEO involved with the daily financial management and general operations of the company. Karolyn performs all company accounting functions including accounts receivable, accounts payables, general ledger, payroll and company financials. Additional responsibilities include profit sharing plan administration and personnel management along with employee benefits and insurance. In 2007 Karolyn was promoted to senior management and earned the title of General Manager. Karolyn finds her position both challenging and rewarding, allowing her to take pride in her contribution to the ongoing success of Computer Arts. March 2018 marks her 23rd anniversary at CAI.
Robert was hired in 2013 as a Network Technician in the Meridian headquarters office. Robert has been heavily involved in installation, configuration and support of PC’s and Networks to our Southern Idaho counties and customers. Roberts’s expertise as a Network Engineer have allowed him to provide the superior service our customers have come to expect. In 2014, Robert was promoted to Regional Network Manager in the Meridian office. He is primarily responsible for overseeing the Networking, Security, hardware and PC user support for the Southwestern Idaho Customers of CAI. Along with hardware sales and service, Robert directs a regional staff of four Network Engineers.
Shelly was hired in 2007 as a Product Analyst for CAI county applications after working as a Crystal Report Consultant for CAI for two years at the Meridian headquarters. In 2008, Shelly was promoted to the position of Service Manager supervising a staff of six Software Specialists. Her duties involve coordinating all the service efforts for the company ensuring that upgrades, product enhancements, customer communications, training and service goals are met. Providing excellent standards of software support and customer service are among Shelly’s highest priorities. Shelly organizes and directs regional user group meetings and attends Idaho association meetings allowing her to remain abreast of count government operations and needs. Conversion analysis, planning and implementation for new County customers is another role Shelly is comfortable in.
Nancy Gilson has worked in Public Entity and Law Enforcement field for over twenty-five years. During her eighteen years at CAI, Nancy has become the product expert on our suite of law enforcement software. Nancy's knowledge of Records collection/submission/reporting, Dispatch, Jail, Civil and the numerous program interfaces is extensive. In addition to software knowledge and excellent technical skills, Nancy has a keen understanding of the need to provide dependable 24/7 service and support to our law enforcement offices. Nancy's role as Product Manager allows her to work closely with end users and developers to determine the future direction of our software products. Nancy's goal is to integrate new technologies into our software as soon as they become available and stay current with all requirements and regulations. Nancy is prepared to support, train, provide a demo or assist county/city personnel in all areas to maximize software utilization.
Clarissa joined the home office of CAI in 2009 as a Service Rep providing support for our County software applications. In addition to becoming a software product expert, Clarissa spent time working on the development side of our applications. In 2017 Clarissa was promoted to Manager of our Software Support deparment. In this role, she has responsibility for a team of Help Desk/Service Reps providing end user assistance on our suite of County applications. Clarissa is the liason between development, product managment, support and our software users. Clarissa's goal is to continually improve and update our products to provde users with efficient tools for daily operations of their County government duties. Training, demos, user group and association meetings are all important areas of her responsibility as she gathers feedback for product requirements and improvements.
