Under Clarissa Parker’s direction, CAI reinstated our long standing tradition of Spring Training classes. With the rise of web documentation, online Help and ‘Go to Meetings,’ the regional training had fallen by the wayside. As Manager of the Service Department, Clarissa felt it was time to get back to our roots, and gather software users together for collaboration and training.
The Eastern Idaho training was held at Jefferson County in Rigby, Idaho in early April. Counties attending were Bear Lake, Bingham, Caribou, Clark, Fremont, Jefferson, Madison, Minidoka, Oneida, Power and Teton.
A session on Treasurer’s Financial and Property Tax, along with Payroll and Recording were held the first day of training. An overview of CAI applications and our website were discussed, followed by Financial Budgeting on day two. Lunch, giveaways and contest prizes were included.
The Southwest Idaho training was held in mid-April and attended by Blaine, Boise, City of Horseshoe Bend, Gem, Gooding, Owyhee, Payette and Valley Counties. It was our pleasure to host these power users at our Meridian, Idaho Home office.
In early May, we traveled to meet with and train the Counties in the North region of the state. Latah County in Moscow, ID graciously offered training space for the two day event. Software users from Boundary, Clearwater, Latah, Lewis, and Nez Perce counties came together to gain insight and provide feedback on our County Software applications.
Thanks to all that traveled and added to the success of our 2018 Spring Training event. With your support we hope to see you all again in 2019.
